I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience in the renal field.  I have worked with individuals diagnosed with end stage renal disease (ESRD) in a dialysis setting where I have helped many clients adjust to being on dialysis while working towards their goals to improve their quality of life.  On a personal level my beloved grandmother was diagnosed with ESRD and had a kidney transplant. Both professionally and personally, I saw how CKD can affect an individual negatively but I also saw the strength that would emerge.  Many of us underestimate our own strength and potential. My goal as your therapist is to help you find your strength and build on it, in hopes that you will be able to live your best life in spite of CKD.
